Transformation Roadmap
A transformation roadmap is a strategic, time-sequenced plan that organizes AI transformation initiatives across the four COMPEL pillars, showing what will be done, in what order, with what resources, by when, and with what expected outcomes.
What this means in practice
It is the primary deliverable of the Model stage and the master document that guides all Produce stage execution. Unlike a project plan that focuses on tasks, the roadmap is a strategic instrument that communicates the transformation journey to different stakeholders at appropriate levels of detail. For organizations, the roadmap is the bridge between assessment insights and transformation action, without which assessment data sits unused and execution proceeds without strategic coherence. In COMPEL, roadmap architecture is the complete focus of Module 2.3, covering gap analysis, initiative sequencing, resource planning, value milestones, risk adjustment, stakeholder communication, and adaptive management.
