Framework Structure

The 4 Pillars

COMPEL rests on four foundational pillars. Every one of the 18 knowledge domains belongs to a pillar, and every one of the 6 stages exercises all four pillars simultaneously.

The four pillars — People, Process, Technology, and Governance — are held together by a fifth, cross-cutting Integration layer. Together they describe every dimension an enterprise must invest in to deliver AI transformation that is safe, valuable, and sustained. This page is the canonical reference for the pillar model. See also the What is COMPEL explainer, the Big Picture, and the 18 Domains index.
