Governance Maturity
Governance maturity measures the sophistication of AI governance from ad hoc and reactive to optimized and continuously improving.
What this means in practice
At low maturity, governance is informal and incident-driven; at high maturity, it is proactive, automated, and evidence-based. For organizations, assessment reveals whether governance keeps pace with AI deployment. In COMPEL, governance maturity is assessed during Calibrate with targets set during Model.
