COMPEL Glossary / GL-22
Workforce Readiness Plan
A structured plan that defines the AI skills, roles, and capabilities the organization needs to execute its transformation program, assesses current workforce gaps, and specifies the training, hiring, and capability-building interventions required to close those gaps by the time they are needed.
What this means in practice
It prevents transformation programs from stalling because the organization lacks the human capability to execute them.
Context in the COMPEL framework
Produced in the Organize stage and directly feeds the Training and Adoption Plan in the Produce stage. Skills gaps identified here must be closed before the teams that need them enter the Model stage.
