COMPEL Glossary / aitf-compel-certified-practitioner
AITF (COMPEL Certified Practitioner)
AITF is the Level 1 COMPEL certification demonstrating foundational mastery of the COMPEL methodology, including the six lifecycle stages (Calibrate, Organize, Model, Produce, Evaluate, Learn), the Four Pillars (People, Process, Technology, Governance), the 18-domain maturity model, and the core principles of AI transformation.
What this means in practice
AITF-certified practitioners understand the 'what' and 'why' of COMPEL but have not yet demonstrated the ability to independently lead client engagements. The certification provides the knowledge base upon which the specialized skills of Levels 2, 3, and 4 are built. All references to Level 1 content in Levels 2-4 point back to the AITF curriculum as prerequisite knowledge that practitioners are expected to have internalized before advancing.
