What COMPEL solutions are
Every COMPEL solution is a productized delivery of one or more stages of the COMPEL methodology, with fixed deliverables, fixed evidence artifacts, and a known duration. Solutions are not bespoke consulting — they are repeatable engagements that produce the same artifacts regardless of who delivers them or which partner runs them.
This matters for three reasons. First, the enterprise can compare quotes across partners on apples-to-apples scope. Second, the artifacts produced are reusable across cycles — an operating-model design from one engagement is input to the next. Third, the evidence trail is defensible to regulators and auditors because it follows the same schema every time.
The four delivery tracks
COMPEL solutions are organized into four tracks. Most enterprise programs traverse all four, in order, over an eighteen-to-thirty-six-month horizon.
1. Diagnostic
Short, fixed-scope engagements that establish the baseline. The deliverable is always a Calibrate-stage artifact set — maturity scorecard, shadow-AI register, domain gap analysis, and a prioritized next-step roadmap. Diagnostics typically run four to eight weeks and are the most common starting point for enterprises new to COMPEL.
2. Design
Operating-model and architecture design engagements. The deliverable is always a Model-stage artifact set — target operating model, reference architecture, policy library mapped to standards, control catalog, and the evidence schema. Design engagements typically run eight to sixteen weeks and follow a successful Diagnostic.
3. Implementation
The full Produce-stage rollout. Deployment of AI systems under the controls designed in the Design track, with system cards, DPIAs, and evidence packs produced for every deployed system. Implementation engagements vary widely in duration based on the number of use cases in scope, from a few months for a single use case to multi-year programs for portfolio-scale deployments.
4. Continuous improvement
Ongoing Evaluate-and-Learn engagements. These are quarterly or annual retainers that run the audit, value-realization, and update loops. The deliverable is always an evaluation report plus policy and control updates fed into the next Calibrate.
Every solution is grounded in the same management system
COMPEL solutions are not separate consulting packages — they are entry points into the same 6-stage transformation operating cycle. Organizations typically begin with one challenge and expand as COMPEL becomes the standard operating procedure for all AI transformation and governance activities.
Each program is grounded in specific COMPEL stages, produces defined transformation and governance artifacts, and delivers measurable business outcomes. Not vague consulting — operationally scoped programs with clear deliverables across strategy, talent, delivery, and governance.
Representative solutions
The full solutions portfolio is fourteen offerings. A representative sample:
- AI Transformation Readiness Diagnostic — four-week fixed-scope Calibrate engagement. Produces the maturity scorecard and the shadow-AI register.
- Target Operating Model Design — eight-week Design engagement. Produces the target operating model, decision-rights matrix, and CoE charter.
- Agent Governance Implementation — twelve-week Design and Model engagement focused on autonomous-agent governance, building the agent registry, autonomy classification, and the incident playbook.
- Governance Program Launch — sixteen-week full-stack engagement spanning Organize, Model, and the first cycle of Produce for a named high-risk use case.
- Value Realization Program — quarterly retainer that runs the Evaluate loop and produces the board-ready value-realization dashboard.
- Continuous Transformation Partnership — annual strategic engagement that runs multiple cycles of the full loop across the enterprise portfolio.
Every solution is published in the open Body of Knowledge with its artifact list, evidence schema, and the cert tier of the partner qualified to deliver it. Enterprises can request a fixed-scope quote from any partner in the directory.
How to choose the right starting point
Most enterprises start in the Diagnostic track. The reason is simple: without a shared baseline of where the organization actually is today, Design engagements produce operating models that do not fit, and Implementation engagements deploy controls that do not map to real risks. The ten-minute Readiness Diagnostic self-assessment on this site is the fastest way to estimate which starting solution is right for your organization.
For organizations that already have a governance program in place and need to extend it to autonomous agents, the Agent Governance Implementation offering is a common entry point. For organizations that have a governance program but cannot demonstrate value, the Value Realization Program is the right starting solution.
Standards alignment
Every COMPEL solution produces evidence artifacts that map to ISO/IEC 42001, NIST AI RMF 1.0, and the EU AI Act. The artifact schema is public. Auditors and regulators who are familiar with the COMPEL Body of Knowledge can read the evidence trail directly without a translation layer.
Frequently asked questions
Are COMPEL solutions delivered by FlowRidge or by partners?
Both. Every COMPEL solution is productized — the scope, deliverables, and evidence artifacts are defined in the open Body of Knowledge. FlowRidge delivers directly for the largest enterprise engagements. The partner network (registered, silver, gold, and strategic tiers) delivers everything from solo practitioner diagnostics through multi-million-dollar transformation programs. Every delivery produces the same artifacts regardless of who runs the engagement.
Can we run COMPEL solutions ourselves without buying consulting?
Yes. The framework, the artifact templates, the implementation roadmap, and the evidence schema are all published in the open Body of Knowledge under the COMPEL Framework License. Enterprises that have the in-house capability to run the method can adopt it directly and contact FlowRidge only for certification, peer review, or escalated support.
How is pricing structured?
Every solution is quoted based on scope, duration, and the cert tier of the partner delivering it. There is no hardcoded pricing on the public site because real pricing depends on organization size, regulatory profile, and existing artifacts. Contact FlowRidge or a partner for a fixed-scope quote.
