COMPEL Glossary / uplift-modeling
Uplift Modeling
Uplift modeling estimates the incremental impact of interventions on individual outcomes, identifying who benefits most versus those unaffected regardless.
What this means in practice
Unlike standard predictive models estimating absolute outcomes, uplift models predict the difference an action makes. For organizations, it enables efficient resource allocation targeting maximum marginal effect. In COMPEL, it represents advanced analytical capability connecting to value attribution in Module 2.5.
